The story behind Tended

Built for the way we actually
save things.

Not the way we intend to. The way we actually do — impulsively, constantly, and without any good place to put it all.

It started with a problem I couldn't solve.

I was saving things obsessively — recipes I wanted to make, beauty tutorials I'd revisit, quotes that hit different at 2am, places I wanted to go, outfits I loved, memes that were too real. Thousands of things. Across a dozen apps, folders, screenshots, and bookmarks.

And then I'd want something I knew I'd saved, and it was just gone. Not deleted — just impossible to find. Buried in a camera roll of 4,000 photos or a notes app that looked like a panic attack.

The problem wasn't that I was saving too much. The problem was that nothing was built for the way people actually collect things online.

"Every existing app wanted me to be more organised than I am. I just wanted somewhere to put the things I loved."

So I built Tended.

The name comes from the idea of tending — the quiet, ongoing act of caring for something. You tend a garden not because it's a chore but because the things growing there matter to you. Tended is that place for your digital life.

It's not a read-later app — those are for things you intend to read. Tended is for things you want to keep. The recipe you'll actually make. The skincare routine you found at midnight. The quote that changed something in you. The place you're going to visit someday.

It's not a bookmark manager — those are for links. Tended is for moments. For the screenshot, the thought, the thing you saw and felt something about.

It's a home for the internet things that are yours.

Who Tended is for.

Honestly? Anyone who has ever said "I saved that somewhere" and then spent 20 minutes not finding it. But specifically:

💄

The beauty obsessed

Glass skin tutorials, skincare routines, makeup finds, everything you screenshot from TikTok at 11pm.

🍳

The recipe collector

You save every recipe you see and make approximately zero of them. Tended helps you actually find them when you're hungry.

👗

The fashion saver

Outfit inspo, capsule wardrobe ideas, that one piece you need to find again when you actually have money.

The everything collector

Quotes, places, memes, articles, music, random things that matter to you for reasons you can't fully explain.

What we believe.

🌿

Saving things is a form of self-knowledge

The things you return to, collect, and keep say something real about who you are. That deserves a beautiful home.

Software should be simple and honest

One price. No subscription. No ads. No algorithm deciding what you see. Your collection, your way.

💛

The personal note is everything

Why did you save this? How did it make you feel? The context you add is what turns a link into a memory.

🔒

Your collection is private

Tended doesn't share your saves, sell your data, or use your collection to train anything. It's yours.
